Why must my doctors insist on talking to me about politics?

So, any political bias I saw from paramedics, nurses and doctors seem to be the same ones I had, and pretty much in line with fellow NJ,s.

My brother is a urologist and hates Trump also, my sister in law is an infectious disease doctor and she cried about 2 days when Trump was elected

 We were watching one of those Live Police shows and a they were assisting a woman who had fallen and possibly hit her head. Asked her the usual questions including who the president was. She kept on saying”please don’t make me say his name. He’s a horrible person! Isn’t he a horrible person?” We just cracked up.

Saw my PCP yesterday. He had heard that I was planning on moving later in the year, to Ohio.

He says: So, you're trying to get away from the Murphy taxes?

I say, No, rents are too high.

He says: so you're trying to get away from the Murphy rents?

I say: They're NEW JERSEY rents.

Then I basically told him to shut up with the politics already.

it doesn't take much to get me off the rails, so I need to nip myself in the bud.
