I wonder if there might be an area senior citizens' center that could make good use of it. Or maybe a senior housing building with a large common room. Seems to me it's a great social and ice-breaking activity for folks who might tend to be less social otherwise. Also, if you donate it to a site owned/run by a town, maybe a public works crew would handle its relocation for you!
Senior Center has no space for a billiards/pool table. I doubt the DeHart Community Center does either. Senior housing buildings would have to be contacted individually.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what charitable organization I can possibly donate a beautiful pool table? I bought it a couple of years ago, thinking my kids would make good use of it, but its hardly been EVER touched. I tried selling it online but have received ridiculously insultingly low offers which I could not accept for a virtually brand new $3,000 table.
I'd much prefer donating it to a worthy group or organization who would make good use of it. Ive contacted many Fire Depts, Police Depts and Rescue Squads but either they already have one or they havent the space for one.
Any thoughts?....Its a mitzvah
