Where to buy a door around here?
When we replaced our wooden back door, we used a metal-core door that looks very like the old door did, but it is more durable. We were happy with the product and the service and they had a pretty extensive selection.
I just opened this thread to recommend Lifetime Aluminum. They're the real deal. Small store. Not a chain.

I can tell you that if you did purchase a door from Lowe's, don't use their contractors for installation.
I'm in the market for a new exterior door and just got home from "WindowRama" on Rt. 22 where I felt like I got the wrong salesman. One guy seemed competent and friendly, and the guy I was dealing with acted like it was the first time anyone tried to buy a door from him. Are there any stores out there other than HD and Lowe's that specialize in doors?
