What happened with recycling today?
Due to high volume, they need an extra day to finish the collection, per the town website. Also, SO Connect has been replace by GovAlert, also per the website.

Thanks. I just called Giordano Recycling and got the same message.
eta - And I owe Howard Levison an apology - I see that he posted about the delay. We can always count on Howard.

SO Connect has only been replaced by GovAlert for mobile apps. It's still used for laptops and home computers.
To get to the notice about the delay with recycling, you have to first click "SO Alerts." Alerts should be posted on the homepage. You have to click "SO Alerts" everytime you visit Southorange.org. to make sure you're not missing something that you should be aware of. The old website was better in this regard.
No recycling has been picked-up, at least in the western part of town. I did use SOConnect to ask. No response yet, and nothing on the Village website. .
