Weekend notary?

Any notaries available on the weekend? I checked the library and their notary isn't in in Saturdays. I am just post-op and so not up for a big trip, and hubby and I need to sign something together. House calls would be a dream but not sure if anyone does that.  Thanks for any tips!!

Yup, banks generally have notaries on staff.

The UPS store in South Orange has a notary. I think they charge $11.0

If Nancy is back at the South Orange library she is a Notary

In relation to pricel..............I paid $2.25 for a two page document at the Maplewood Library a few weeks ago

legally the most you can charge for a notary is $2.50 per signature. There could be travel expenses but if you go there that's the most I can be charge per New Jersey state. I normally would travel to you but I am also laid up. You're welcome to come to my home in South Orange

I could swear I was charged $4 at a UPS store in Union County..but its been a while.

Yikes! Is there a notary available tonight? My daughter is flying internationally in the morning and I didn't think to get a letter notarized. I'm guessing it'll be okay, but I'd rather not guess. Thanks!

No worries, @librarylady. Hauscat saved us. Then of course no one asked for the darn thing at the airport this morning.

I'm reminded of the time I took the kids to Canada without my husband. I had him sign a letter (didn't notarized, though). The border agent asked for a letter, read it, then told me it was perfect but that next time he should include the kids' names. Haha!
