MW has had NJAW forever- we haven't used either a softener nor a filter...maybe a filter soon.
Thanks
I think our water in South Orange has gotten considerably softer. We no longer need to put vinegar in our dishwasher to keep the dishes from being all spotted.
I am planning to put a drinking water filter in though. I actually liked the taste of the water before the changeover.
The water in SO is still hard, though less so than before the switch. I didn't like the taste before, and I don't like it now. We have a water softener, and drink bottled water.

A friend in SO has asked about the need for a replacement water softener. since your town switched away from EO Sewer, has the need for water softeners changed? How about whole house filters?
Thanks
