Also, the vote by mail application deadline is a week before the election.

At the link, you can download and mail and application. It's basically an absentee ballot, but anyone can apply. If you think it might be difficult to make time on Election Day (for you or anyone you know), consider the vote by mail option.
On Jefferson, between Ridgewood and Maplewood Aves, someone has a lawn sign that says simply "Vote". I think that's my favorite lawn sign.

Not even one tiny comment?
Bumping the vote.
Get registered.
Update your registration if you've moved. Or changed your name.
Without taking sides, I think if you care about NJ's Senate race you should make sure you vote. Could be a close one.
So I’ve been registered to vote since I was 18-eons ago. I’ve updated names and addresses as the years went by. The last thing I did was not declare a party a year or so ago. I do not see that I am registered now when I do a search.
Guess I need to call the county? Pretty sure I got a sample or ballot last year for something here.
Never mind- forgot that the MVC cuts the last letter off of my first name and now I see my status.
I heard on the radio this morning that New Jersey's voter registration rolls have increased by 100,000 this year. No matter what your political affiliation is, I think that's an excellent sign. And it's not too late to be voter number 100,001, the registration deadline is next Tuesday.

Where did you go to check that?
The first link above^.
I always forget that the state didn’t have room for the last letter of my first name going back to when I first got my driver’s license.
It's the second link I posted in my opening post. Just put in your name, month and year if your birth and it confirms your voter registration and municipality.
I think the law that was passed to opt in voter registration at license renewal has helped a lot. You now have to opt OUT if you do not want to register as a voter. I’m sure I can convince 5 people to accompany me to the polls on voting day but if they weren’t registered it’s of no use.
