Village Doctors on Vose

SoI get a letter this morning that Dr Doubek is leaving the practice and reopening in Milburn . That leaves just Dr Snyder. Anyone know what's going on?

Got the same letter. I'm sure that they'll assign some other doctor to that office

I did call and they said at this time by Dr. Snyder is going to be the only doctor. Time may change that

Great! I'm scheduled for a physical early next month with Dr Doubek. What happens now?

Ugh, boo. Anyone know a good family practice where I can see a female doctor?

The letter says you could have the physical at the new office

Oh wow. I did not get anything and my appointment is soon. Thanks for the heads up! Will call them on Monday . Did the letter have any timeframe for the change?

Maybe I could have been notified of this? Thanks for the heads up, I'll call the office tomorrow.

The letter said and I quote "as of December 19 I will be relocating to 225 Millburn Ave., Millburn, NJ"

I guess I was not a good enough patient to get the letter. I really liked Dr Doubek, unless she still accepts the same insurance, I will miss her.

The new location at 225 Millburn Ave. in Millburn which is known as PASE Healthcare is still part of the Atlantic Medical Group. Check their website for insurance.

The Millburn office looks like a great practice (on paper). It offers both internal medicine and pediatrics with all female doctors.

Thanks Library Lady. My appointment is after the expected move date so I hopefully will be receiving a letter this week.

Me too !

We have been using PASE for our grandchildren and like their pediatric practice. No experience with the adult paractice.

Went into the So Orange office yesterday and ask about another practitioner joining. I was told that they might have a nurse practitioner join but nothing is settled. Damn after all that work to get a variance and I was so happy with them..

The Millburn office is not too far away. Couldn't you use that office instead?

Is this for Summit Springfield Family Practice? (Title says Village but drs mentioned within sounds like SSFP). If SSFP, what about Dr Amy Schram?

Drs. Snyder and Doubek moved to So Orange quick a while ago. Dr Doubek is leaving and going to another (third) group

All the locations are part of Atlantic Healthcare however.

Isn't the Milburn address also Dr. Snyder's previous practice? Again, why don't you want to go to Milburn center for your preferred physician?

Dr. Snyder used to be in Summit (I saw him there) immediately before he went to South Orange.

I was just able to verify that my appointment with Dr. Doubek for next week will be at the new Millburn office and insurance will be the same as she is still under Atlantic Medical Group. I had moved from SMG Short Hills after my doctor there left last December. I wanted to be at the Vose Ave. practice since it's within walking distance of home, but I don't prefer to see a male doctor. I guess I'll try Dr. Doubek at the new location.

Because I can walk to downtown SO!

My problem exactly. It is literally across the street from work. But I rally like Dr Doubek (and Dr Snyder but it's ackward to see a doc that you sort of know semi-personally. Gonna have to figure this out.
