Why, oh why, did law enforcement not go after DJT and the Trump Organization years ago?? The NYS AG and the US Attorney for the Southern District of NY should have been on him YEARS ago.

Excellent article. 

Trump keeps saying that he doesn't have anything in Russia, and that is true. What he doesn't say is that he needs Russian money in the US and Russian money needs him. This is why he wants good relations with Russia.

Can Trump legally prevent the FBI from investigating crimes they discover whilst in the Russia investigation? I mean "I can't get you for stealing an election but I can get you for tax evasion and illegal dealings with Russia even though that wasn't the issue to begin with". What power does he have to stop the FBI? 

Washington Post is reporting that Trump's lawyers are looking into ways to undermine Mueller, through finding "conflicts of interest" and by other ways. Also, Trump is asking for advice as to his pardoning power.

Rachel Maddow just reported these things.

Guardian Australia has a couple of articles that includes quotes from from ordinary supporters saying 'I don't care if he cheated to get in, I still support him and what he's trying to do'. Um, yeah. 

I love the way Rachel Maddow puts it all together from several print journalism sources as well as her own reporting. It's a new model in broadcast journalism. 

And I repeat this question. Not rhetorical. If anyone knows, I'd love to know why. Everyone knew he was a mobster.
