The crabs are scrambling to get out of the pot as Mueller turns up the heat.  It's got to be an atmosphere fraught with anxiety and paranoia.  Federal subpoenas, pricey criminal defense attorneys and worry that colleagues may be under surveillance can't make for happy times. The water cooler talk must be very scripted:  "Stop emailing me!"  They need to remember to hang up their things at the end of the day. When the FBI staged their "no-knock" raid on Paul Manafort's pad, they took pics of the suits hanging in his closet.

To conservatives, commercializing the flag by putting it on clothing or some commercial product is fine. Capitalism. To put writing on the flag such autographing it or some patriotic blurb is also OK.

But God forbid should you not stand facing the flag during the pledge or the national anthem.

leave it to the right wing snowflake crybabies to turn the flag and the anthem into something aversive. Their histrionics make me want to sit out the anthem. 

They've narrowed an observance that was supposed to honor the country in all of its aspects to an observance in honor of only the military. 

Honoring only the military is not the sort of patriotism that I want to participate in. Our country stands for a lot more than our armed forces. 

Watching my home team Patriots, who are disrespecting the flag with symbols on their helmets.

This is the placement of the flag on such things as the vertical stablizer ("dorsal fin tail") of Air Force One, on the right side.  

Boycott the NFL?  Ironically enough, it’s probably one of the few areas of interest that keeps both Af Am and white folks glued to the couch in fall.

Maybe it’ll catch on with college football and we’ll boycott those games.

Read a piece today in which a guy gave up his NFL season tickets in protest. Wonder how long the list was to buy them.

The fact that Trump holds the position of POTUS represents the greatest possible disrespect of the Flag, the Constitution and the Nation.
