Trump mercilessly mocked (again) for drinking water like a small child

This is not to mock our Dear Leader, but to offer suggestions: try using a straw.  Also, the beer maidens of the Oktoberfest could show him a thing or two.

uk.news.yahoo.com:  Trump Mercilessly Mocked for Drinking Water like a Small Child

On Monday, Donald Trump gave a speech on national security, but distracted observers by holding and drinking from a glass with both hands.  It’s not the first time his “two-handed chipmunk-like style of drinking water” has provoked hilarity on Twitter and Facebook.

His fingers are too short to wrap around the glass.

I don't know why he uses two hands, but why should anyone care?

If he can shove aside a fellow world leader, he can be mocked for holding glass like a sippy cup.

it's not that anyone really cares.  It's just funny.

It’s so his hand doesn’t shake.

If he acted like an adult it would be one thing. But considering the way he mocks anybody who criticizes him, well, f___ him.

It's likely to steady his hands.

What a mean spirited post.  OP should be ashamed for mocking someone with an apparent disability or condition.

Again, f___ him.

mock away, he deserves it.

This. His coordination is off. He has trouble walking down stairs too. Ever see him try to descend the steps of AF-1? Maybe early stages of Parkinson's.

Can you even imagine the outcry if HRC did this? They'd be calling for her impeachment.

OK, I just watched the video. In addition to surrounding the glass with both hands, he lowers his head to meet the glass half way. That's likely because he doesn't have good aim. If he tried to lift the glass all the way to his mouth, he would miss.

Pretty big overlap between Essential Tremor and Dementia.

Or maybe he’s just tired.

what a silly post. Let’s mock his policies or his leadership or the way he interacts with others in his role as president. There’s surely plenty there. But this is just dumb and lowers you to his level.

Remember him mocking "Little Marco Rubio" when Rubio stopped for water during a press conference.  Now he's doing what he has mocked others for.  As stated above, mock away, he deserves it.

He speaks like a small child, so why shouldn't he drink water like a small child?

Are you five?

it’s possible he has really bad arthritis or similar, affecting hips, neck/shoulder and knuckles. Most people wouldn’t want to talk about it. Could be a fair amount of pain, which might explain some of the speech patterns and brain fog. (Either the pain or meds for pain could be the excuse explanation)

I was reminded of this when my elder sister and I were discussing her bursitis today.

Regardless, as others have said, this is a Season for compassion and understanding even if it’s not always reflected back to us. Let’s not stoop down to ‘that’ level.

I'm not coming for you BUT...I'm always curious why, if a post is deemed as "silly" or "childish", why participate?

There are PLENTY of things to mock him about and this is one of them. He is not a gentleman. He is boorish, ill mannered and tempered and is himself, a frustrated teenaged boy, lashing out on social media. Above all else, he is mean spirited and loves to hit below the belt either directly or subtly, e.g., Kirsten Gillibrand "would do anything" for contributions.

There will be more posts like this about him. I for one encourage them! Let's vent! Let's mock! Let's humiliate! And let's also decry his insane policies, his uncontrollable lies and his robber baron theft of America. If we can't laugh, we'll cry. He's a scary, out of control mother flower.

he is a serious threat to the safety and well being (financial, psychological, medical, etc) of many Americans.

Christmas dinner should be fun. I still can't believe anyone can support his ignorance.

The creep has spent an adulthood making fun of peoples' physical traits. Wears oversized suit jackets and long ties to hide his Big Mac belly. Even has a mega-comb-over because he sees baldness as a flaw. Any ridicule of this idiot is well-deserved.

This man set the tone for the public discourse.  He does not recognize any ‘season of compassion’.  F___ him.    Those who want to keep it civil, fine but keep your soap box judgements to yourselves.  This man is a special breed of evil.  He deserves only scorn and shame.

This...

Absolutely! He does it and then walks it back like we're delusional and misheard or misinterpreted the mocking...

Wish we could walk him naked through The Mall and yell "Shame! Shame! Shame!", throwing bottles of Trump Water, Trump Steaks and MAGA merchandise at him -- Game of Thrones style.

I'm totally fed up with Trump, and I am not arguing that he deserves a shred of respect. He doesn't. My question was merely about how his water glass technique matters to the rest of us.

As for irreverence, even the Bible agrees there is a time for it. See Psalm 109! So yeah, F Trump!

hear, hear...f trump.

I think many of us have been curious about some of his odd behavior that seems to indicate something is wrong. I'm not playing doctor, but I kept noticing things that remind me of behaviors that I observed as my dad got older. When the tape of Trump slurring was played I remembered that when they gave my dad Seroquel, if I called shortly after he took it, he started slurring. When I pointed it out he wasn't aware. Then I realized it was happening when the drug kicked in.

He also started holding the glass with both hands and leaning in to the glass.

Just an observation without malice.

That said, as much as I get into the spirit of Christmas, past, present and future, I'm comfortable with joining a chorus of F Him.

I’m more than comfortable joining a chorus of FTrump and I despise every single thing he does and stands for. That doesn’t mean I want to mock his physical limitations (even if that’s what he does to others)
