Thursday 1/16/20 wind and Saturday Snow.

Was able to do my walkway and the 2 seniors on both sides of me in 35 minutes. I'll salt before it gets dark if everything doesn't dry by then.

Took me about three hours this morning.  Went slowly and took breaks.  Hardest part was removing the roadway slush DPW plows deposited the entire length and breath of the sidewalk. 

My house faces south and it was almost all melted by mid-morning.  I did see some plow slush on the sidewalks near Joan's house but around noon it appeared to me that many of those had melted off on their own by then.  And I can't imagine that it was enough to prevent anyone from getting out of their driveway to get to work, but I suppose there could have been more in the higher elevation parts of town (?)
