Just as POTUS has "an absoslute right" to fire an FBI director. Doesn't mean he should do it. The point of the article is to illustrate what type of person Jared is. It speaks volumes.
No. In this case it is just a landlord doing normal business practices that are in no way inappropriate.

Only certain types of people would be able to stomach conducting these "normal business practices." That's the point.
Only if you are a communist would the normal actions of a landlord be considered objectionable. But of course publicly owned housing has such a wonderful record of being so great to live in. Not.
Do you really think that people in communist countries do not suffer consequences for not paying their rent?
Apparently the Company controlled by Kushner is aggressive in seeking to collect debts. One could write a similar story about hospitals' collection practices or those of credit card companies.
I have read that creditors to whom Mr. Trump was indebted were not so aggressive. Unfortunate if true.

www. propublica.org: The Beleagured Tenants of 'Kushnerville'
Tenants in more than a dozen Baltimore-area rental complexes complain about a property owner who they say leaves their homes in disrepair, humiliates late-paying renters and often sues them when they try to move out. Few of them know that their landlord is the president’s son-in-law.
