I did it myself, when I was a younger man.
Replacing a sump pump is easy. If you have not had one before:
Is there a deep enough sump?
Do you need french drains?

Hi,
We need to have a first time sump pump installed. Has anyone had this done in the last 5 years? I'd love to hear your story...APPROX how much? who? how long? are you satisfied? what should I be asking, but don't know?
BTW I'm a big DIYer, but will NOT attempt this.
