Got to admire the self-discipline of Garland as he fields questions about impartiality from the monstrously-hypocritical GOPers who seem to have forgotten the last AG.
The whole GQP questioning of Merrick Garland can be summed up as: "Why do you say 'systemic racism' as if it's a bad thing?"

After Vanderbilt, Kennedy received a Juris Doctor in 1977 from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, Virginia. At the University of Virginia School of Law, he was an executive editor of the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.[2] In 1979, he earned a Bachelor of Civil Law degree with first class honours from Oxford University (Magdalen College) in England, where he studied under Sir Rupert Cross and John H.C. And Kennedy used to sound reasonable on occasion when he appeared on the odd MSNBC show but then he questioned Garland with that exercise in "define systemic racism."
Also, I question his rationale on the impeachment issue.

I'm watching the hearing and listening to the thoughtful kind answers of Judge Garland, and struck by the contrast to the former AG.
I've been a Garland crusader since his rude treatment by McConnell and company. I'd prefer to see him seated as one of the 9 but happy to cheer for him now. Glad that Sen. Cory Booker gave him the opportunity to share his personal motivation, which should have moved anyone who listened and embarassed the Senators who treated him with such discourtesy when he was President Obama's pick for the Supreme Court.
