By the way I couldn't figure out how to start a new discussion under Politics

ETA: @jamie he's right. Soapbox: All Politics doesn't appear in the dropdown menu for starting a new discussion. I'm guessing that's a function of making it a subforum.

Thanks, but why do we have to have three different sections. MOL should go back to all Forums listed in one place. We can ignore the ones we do not want to read.

I think Jamie and Dave felt like the discussion board was covered in political threads, which was potentially offputting to new members.
