Strzok being grilled. Things getting rowdy.

According to Mr. Gohmert  one has no credibility if they have ever lied to their wife. Hmm so should we just impeach Trump now?

"During today's House Homeland hearing, Rep. Kathleen Rice asked DHS's CIO and Chief Procurement Officer if they agreed with the IC's Russian meddling report. They both declined to answer. That led to this fun open-mic moment with Rep. Lou Correa right after the hearing ended."

Your Excellency Mr. President,
The significant first meeting with Your Excellency and the joint statement that we signed together in Singapore 24 days ago was indeed the start of a meaningful journey.
I deeply appreciate the energetic and extraordinary efforts made by Your Excellency Mr. President for the improvement of relations between the two countries and the faithful implementation of the joint statement.
I firmly believe that the strong will, sincere efforts and unique approach of myself and Your Excellency Mr. President aimed at opening up a new future between the DPRK and the U.S. will surely come to fruition.
Wishing that the invariable trust and confidence in Your Excellency Mr. President will be further strengthened in the future process of taking practical actions, I extend my conviction that the epochal progress in promoting the DPRK-U.S. relations will bring our next meeting forward.

Who was the Dem. Congressman who followed Gohmert?

Big fan of Gutierrez. Sorry that he is leaving. Looking forward to waving good-bye to Goodlatte and Gowdy.

Always enjoy Mr. Jeffries. Liked the list of GOP villains, referred to as a parade of degenerates. Now how often do you hear that phrase in congress?

Bonnie Watson Coleman scolds Chairman Trey Gowdy, who is berating Strzok:

"Leave it along, this is not Benghazi!"

Chairman Draco Trey Malfoy is.playing for points from the Slytherin News Network. The other houses won't think much of it.

No, the crowd thought it was a big nothing, considering that a day or two after that NK called the U.S. statements "gangster like", and today they stood up a U.S. delegation which was waiting for them at the DMZ.

In addition to the fact that is has nothing to do with the topic.

I'll never look at him again without seeing Draco. Perfect.

With GOP members and their innuendo, and insinuations, and denying the witness a chance to respond after long statements impugning him during today's hearing -

Joseph McCarthy himself couldn't have done it better.

They're auditioning for Sean Hannity's highlight reel tonight.

We are watching a hearing where the major topic is the political beliefs of Federal employees.

We are down a dark, dark hole.

How many times did they refer to his infidelity? One congressman offered prayers for his family. Was he being charged with breaking the 6th commandment?

Mr chairman , Michael Corleone deserves an apology....oh wait this is not a movie.

That scene came to mind a couple of times, especially with the looks on the faces of some of the GOP questioners.

If you told me 40 years ago that some day the Republican Party would be attacking the FBI and its leader cozying up to the Dictator of Russia I would have known you to be crazy.

Each a protector of the Dear Leader, the philanderer and assaulter, and supporters of Roy Moore.

BTW - this Strzok guy seems to be an exemplary example of what one wants in a civil servant. He's very impressive. It's a shame he was sacrificed. Was there ever an investigation into how/why his texts were released in the first place?

Because the republicans control all branches of government. For now.

"In my wildest dreams, in my entire life, I never thought I - a young black man - would be  defending the FBI."

    Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La

The Democrats yesterday:   " Mommy, It doesn’t look that bad to me. If I don’t see a mess, does the mess really exist Mommy?"   In defending this Strozk guy, the Dems are defending Necrotizing Fasciitis within the FBI.

Goodlatte told Strzok that he would be held in contempt for refusing to answer questions that were related to an ongoing investigation.

Goodlatte said that the transcript of Strzok's closed-door testimony couldn't be released because it related to an ongoing testimony.

You are being a good little soldier, aren't you?  That's the talking point sent out last night.  For a change of pace I watched Laura Ingraham's show on Fox News, to see what they were saying.  Trump's spokesmodel Rudy Giuliani was on, and said Strzok was the worst FBI agent since "those guys who worked for the Russians".  I don't know if Giuliani is just ignorant, or being especially nasty, but Strzok's job for the last quarter century has been to hunt down Russian spies in our country (including a couple who were the real-life inspiration for "The Americans").

To protect Trump, they're sliming Strzok, and all their little minions are helping them (see quoted text).

The same Goodlatte who berated and ranted against Strzok who kept saying that the FBI wouldn't let him discuss the details of an ongoing investigation.

FBI agents have political opinions. Shocker! Just because he doesn't lick the soles of your Dear Leader doesn't mean he isn't capable of doing his job.

Alex has it backwards. Strzok is being attacked for being an anti-fascist.
