So, is he going to come home now

and you know, like actually govern the state? What a miserably poor, and might I say well-deserved, showing for Christie last night. Can't wait to see his political career do a big splat after this.

did he get any votes?

Very possibly after next week.

He's making his stand in NH.

he beat Santorum! maybe the spin will be similar to his plummeting approval ratings in NJ which he said was because we really don't want him to leave..."I came in 10th because the people here really love me!"

Nice! Just in time for Bridgegate trial in April.

It was a delight to see Christie deservedly do so poorly last night.

He is going home--to New Hampshire.

+1

Not coming back to NJ until the last nickel is dried up.

Like Custer -- LOL!   oh oh

He's done after NH.

We should send him a mop to clean up his tears.

Poll finds Christie slipping in New Hampshire

Too bad he won’t be around to lose in his own state.

The less time he spends here, the less damage he can do.

Really, I can only shudder at what he is going to be like when he comes back defeated, dragging his ego in the dust.  He is going to run even more roughshod over everyone and everything in his rage.

I think Senator Rubio's strong showing in Iowa, is bad news for Governor Christie in New Hampshire.  Rubio showed himself to be the viable alternative to Trump or Cruz.  I can see people shifting to Rubio even if they were leaning towards Christie, at this point.

He's going to be looking for targets/scapegoats for his rage. Everyone will be keeping a low profile.

Resign and give Guadagno a year and a half to establish herself as an incumbent

Give us all a year and a half to recover from his "leadership" and get ready for the next "leader."

it would be better if he takes his ball and goes home- refusing to "play politics" anymore.

Didn't she already make her bones by trying to shake down the mayor of Hoboken?

[edited to add] Talk about statists. Abusing the power of the state of New Jersey, and for what? Personal political ambition.

Perhaps if we all go up to NH and campaign for CC we can keep him out of the state for a while longer.

Has anyone seen his ad running in NH? Shamelessly using 9/11/01 to scare voters.

I'm not sure Christie is coming back to New Jersey anytime soon.

Beloved Treasured Leader very busy doing most important things for Beloved Treasured Leader.  Even willing to stay in cheap motel and enjoy delicious room service from glorified vending machine.

Cannot possibly think of mundane governor tasks in small state as long as campaign expense account has 5 cent to support honorable pipe dream.

And we've all paid so much already for his pipe dream. No new rail tunnel, no money for road repairs, no pension funds, no race-to-the-top money.

So many things we've sacrificed so that our dear leader could remain ideologically pure enough to appeal to the far-right voters in Iowa.
