sign downtown-- south orange schools discriminate

or something to that effect.. about noon today across from bunnies, one lady with a sign. perhaps she means the leveling issue? What do you thing she means?

I saw her also but with different signs. Not sure what it's about but I found it odd for her to be standing in the middle of SO holding a sign that said something about Mpwd.

I like how Nike slipped in the product placement

Thanks for the photo.

Where are the Maplewood Villiage Condos?

They are off Elmwood Avenue, near the Mapelwood pool - older two story brick buildings. Lots of seniors live there.

I wonder why she is protesting in South Orange as the condos are in Maplewood.

Hi All,
There are several threads about her. She started with a sign about discrimination at SO Middle School. Someone posted yesterday that there were two other protesters at SOMS and this one had moved to downtown SO.

Most intriguing...
Best Regards,
Ron Carter

I saw her on the train to NYC with the "my civil rights are being violated in the township of Maplewood" sign. I asked her what the sign was about and she said "I don't want to talk about it". I thought that was an odd response for someone carrying a large sign.

Is today just a morning for me to crack up spontaneously reading threads....

That is a mighty nice looking sign.

nice signs because one's message needs to be clear

This makes complete "scents"

Just when you think it can't get weirder - it goes and gets weirder.

Sounds more like performance art than protest to me....

...can't stop laughing!

Whatever Maplewood township is doing, I hope they continue. I can use a few more good laughs in the morning.

Wow, that's kind of hilarious

What is with the digging up of old threads like this? I thought this was something new until I saw the Jan 2012 date on my thread contribution.

Agreed, the other thread on the ACLU was started in Nov. of 2014.

Someone is oblivious to dates, it seems.

LOL!!!!

BTW these same signs are posted on one of the units at the Maplewood Village Apartments. You can see them when you are stopped at the light.
