Shred-it Day Today

Today is the bi-annual shredding day at DPW. I used to wait until late morning to avoid the lines, but last year the truck filled up early. So I'm in line now. The end of the line is out on Boyden Avenue. So don't wait too long.

I missed it too.  WHY because like some other things not enough wide spread notice sent out

Equally important .... the event "sells out" every time. Why not hire a second truck?

I never heard any notice, but I've learned to go look for it on the township website.  They do it every April and October.  With all those notices we get about other things from the town, I'm not sure why they don't send notices about this.

I agree.  And I would be totally happy to pay a modest fee if that's what it takes.  I understand that we are budget strapped.

DPW now has a FB page and this should be something they post along with other info, i.e. BULK drop off day, electronics recycling, etc.
