Should Clinton do Fox News Town Hall?

I was kind of relieved when she wasn't doing the town hall.  I dislike Trump intensely, and believe that letting him bully his way through the debates with a complete lack of policy detail is what lead to his rise, but I thought Fox was unfairly heavy handed with him in the last debate, relative to the other candidates.  If they were that way to a Republican, it could get very nasty for Clinton, although she has actual platforms and policy positions.  Fox News is not known for it's journalism, but rather for it's smear tactics.  What are your thoughts?

Faux is just an ATTACK tool for the Republican establishment. Glad she didn't set herself up.

Hillary Clinton joining Bernie Sanders at Fox News town hall

A candidate for office should appear at any forum to which he or she is invited. First, it shows courage and, second, the more outreach and exposure to the public, the better.

Well, that's not true. There's clearly a line somewhere. Fox isn't that line - but you wouldn't expect Hill and Bern to take questions at a Klan rally just because they were invited. Trump might show though, so at least they won't lose the deposit on the hall.

Bernie spoke at Liberty U, not exactly a place friendly to his beliefs.

FOX is a major TV Network.

If a group invites a candidate it means that for whatever reason that group wishes to hear from that candidate. If the NRA invited Hillary or Telemundo invited Trump  I would counsel them to appear.

Yeah unfortunately I think her hands are tied...Fox is a "news network" and even though they will be out for blood if she doesn't appear it sends an even worse message (to people who won't vote for her anyway...)

I'd put Liberty University* in the same league as Fox (and the NRA).

*I had to double check; Bob Jones University was the "no interracial dating" one.

she can handle it just fine. I wouldn't worry too much

Hillary was fine with the original DNC debate schedule which was only a few debates at times no one would be watching.  After interest in Bernie picked up, the DNC finally agreed to some more debates, which Bernie insisted on having when people might actually watch.  He had wanted more debates from the get go.  So, when FOX offered, he said yes right away.  Perhaps if the DNC had arranged a real initial debate schedule, they would not have ended up having to debate in Mordor.

It will be interesting.

Hey, will Candy Crowley be there?

At this stage the clown ticket is so bad, even FNC viewers are looking elsewhere. I'd be all over that channel trying to pull votes to my side.

Disagree -- a candidate has to manager their time and resources.  It would make no sense to go to any event hosted by David Duke, or the KKK.  It would make no sense to make a special trip to any state where they already held their primary.   She is well known, and not sure she needs the exposure.

I think Fox News has been doing a good job at these debates. It's odd that I'm saying this, but they really expose the candidates for who they are. The fact that the debates are sh*t shows is because of the candidates, not the moderators.

Agree with Tom here. Fox has been probing, professional and tough. Usually, I don't like them.

It's like in a weird way, Trump's BS diatribe against them meant they had to kinda drop their own BS and prove themselves.

That could be their goal. I don't know. Do they want to be taken seriously now? If so, they can keep this stuff up.
