Short-term housing during floor refinishing

Hi - I'm looking for a house to stay in from Friday night until Tuesday (4 nights). Family of 5 with 2 dogs - and one is big (90 pounds) but very friendly. Anywhere close to Maplewood considered! Thanks!

Good luck. We stayed in a hotel for about the same length of time - 2 dogs and a cat which were boarded.

The Residence inn accepts dogs.

Don't know of their rules on the Animals but if you are willing to board them elsewhere we had an wonderful extended stay due to floor work at Les Saisons in Maplewood.  Can't say enough how nice the experience was, you must at least discuss it with Art and Libby.

Truly lovely way to spend the time while your place is getting repaired.

Best Regards,

I would check airbnb as well.  As I plan on doing a floor refinish in the future - guessing you are doing a water based poly...is 4 nights enough time for it to air out? Also, who are you using?

This is a good idea.

The OP said he had a fairly big dog so lodging with it may not be a good idea. Mine can become very hostile in new environments if left alone. My mind rests better when they're at the boarder.

Having flashbacks reading this of staying in the old Holiday Inn on 22 with our 4 cats while the floors were being done in our place. Not fun....
