The current situation is excellent news for the "Legalize Pot" cause. 

Oh Mr. T, yes.  From experience I recommend both backing off the news (some, maybe a lot, still leaking through, though) & rock 'n' roll.  Been on that prescription for several months now....

Haven't tried the drinking & drugs yet, but they have crossed my mind, as has "shoot me now," frequently.

Getting harder to hang in there.

Compromise. Follow the news with drugs and alcohol and blast some music on the commercials.

Don't you be uneasy.  It's too much to even fathom, I know, especially the fact that the tilt of the Supreme Court may likely be changed for generations.  Yes, step away from the media blast for a bit, but all is not completely lost.  Remember November.

Its not hopeless. In November we need to turn congress. Bigly.

As for the SC, their actions need to be scrutinized. Are the conservatives trying to do what is right (in their minds) or are they parroting what they are told by the Federalist Society? Are there conflicts of interest such as we've often seen with Clarence Thomas?

The solution is impeachment. You can even impeach based on misinformation given during the nomination hearings. Which was one of the charges against an impeached Federal judge.

But we need a congress that does its job.

Let's just get this out of the way right now. When a sitting Supreme Court justice is married to a woman who received nearly a million dollars from a wealthy Texas billionaire to oppose the Affordable Care Act in a high-profile fashion, the answer shouldn't be that spouses are entitled to do whatever they want.

 My father and stepmother lived in a building that he built and tried to tear down. He harassed all of the residents. They wrote a farcical book in 1995 about Trump running for president. It was rejected. I'm tempted to resurrect the manuscript. If they came back to life now and learned of the Trump presidency, they would die again.

 Funny that you mentioned Clarence Thomas. I wondered how he would stand up to the Me Too movement if Anita Hill came forward today.
