Apologies for not reading through this thread in detail but: Would love to know if you have any "mom + kid" yoga classes that would be offered in the early evening or on weekends. Thanks.
bluepool, how old is your child? We don't currently have a Family Yoga class on the schedule but please let us know what you are looking for and perhaps we can make it happen if there's enough interest. Thank you.

Will this be repeated in the future? After reading this article in the NY Times yesterday ( http://nyti.ms/1gwioGQ ) we want to try this for our daughter who definitely has issues with focus, emotions and stress.

@shaktiYoga, Memorial Day is a big day for families in Maplewood... I'm afraid you won't get much participation during that time slot as it's right in the middle of the big festivities - the parade (9 am) and duck race (11am). Not that everyone participates in these festivities, of course, but it may not be the best day to gauge long-term interest!

I just want to put in a huge plug for Emily Ramos' class!! I haven't taken this one specifically, but she used to teach a 9pm Vinyasa class that was really awesome.

I've now gone for my second treatment with Debra Bernath -- an hour of reflexology. My gosh, for the first time in I don't know how long my feet didn't hurt when I walked out of there (I was kidding her saying could she just wheel the table down Springfield and take me home so I wouldn't have to walk on them). I'm now reading the book "The Dragon's Way" that she recommended in preparation for taking her course in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Win-win all the way!!!

Isn't Debra amazing? We are so lucky to have her at Shakti. Please tell all your friends about her incredible hands. There was a a thread on Reflexology not too long ago. Perhaps you could also post there as well. We want as many people to benefit as possible from Debra's gifts. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us.

Our favorite, of course, was #6:
6. Cultivate space in your daily routine. Take time for lunch. Find space in your morning to sit quietly before starting your day. Invest in solitude, meditation, or yoga. Find opportunity for breaks at work in between projects. Begin right away cultivating little moments of space and margin in your otherwise busy day.
What was your favorite? Which one can you implement in your life today?
