Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Monday 7/12 until 11:00pm
The NWS has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for all of New Jersey except Cape May County as well as a Flash Flood Watch
Afternoon heating, a slow moving warm front, and a lot of moisture in the air is leading to a general instability (seriously). While the severe threat is mainly for gusty winds, there is a chance of heavy rain where storms occur, and added to the 3+ inches we have had since Friday, there is a chance of flash flooding in the areas that often flood as well.
