San Francisco and surrounding areas in May?

Any been during mid to late May? Travels there often? Generally know the weather cycle for that time of the year?

The weather is generally very nice.  After the winter rains but before the summer fogs. If you go inland, it can be quite warm. Its a great time to visit the Headlands or head down the Central Coast.

Have you been there before?

Cold, then hot, then you can't see anything and it's cold and windy, then it gets colder.  Repeat.
