Ricalton's with a baby?

What's the thinking on Ricalton's with a baby? Would he be welcome in both the dining room and The Snug? Is one better than the other?

Our older son is with his grandparents tonight so we want to take advantage of an almost-date night! oh oh

Sorry! - dorky response. Edited to say - please bring baby and have fun. (I need to read slower...)
:-D

We've been taking our baby to both quite frequently and never encountered a problem. Go, enjoy yourselves!

Not to sound snarky but if someone is having dinner at 5:46 PM (or lunch at 11:30 AM) they've lost the right to complain about all but the worst kids.

I've seen people there with toddlers at 9 pm.

I think anniebb misread tarheels post. I think ABB thought that TH was complaining that somone brought a grand baby to ricalton's

That's just silly.

Silly is one word for it, I guess.

Oh, maybe so!! Yes, our older one is off with the grandparents so we have the relatively easy one who would just hang out in his car seat... So it's a good excuse to try a place that's more challenging with the 5-year-old!

We did go to Ricalton's and it was totally fine. Packed with kids at 6:30, actually, and quite loud so any fussing would have been drowned out anyway. I just wanted to be sure it would be okay to bring him- remembering the nasty vibe we got years ago at Gaslight when we carried in a (totally asleep and quiet) baby in a car seat cheese

This was our first visit to Ricalton's and we were glad to try it! I'd feel comfortable going back with both kids. The harvest salad was delicious, but I probably wouldn't get the veggie burger again. The service was nice and the beer selection decent!

The Gaslight is notoriously unfriendly to kids.  Ours are all grown up, but we still don't go there.
