Recycling not-empty aerosol cans

Over the past 5 summers, we've managed to collect a dozen or more half-empty aerosol cans from insect repellent and sunscreen.  I've searched the Maplewood Public Services web page, but I'm not clear if I can recycle these things, and if so, how.  Anybody know?

I do not think you can recycle them.  I think they are trash.
