Recommended reasonable/family lodgings in Geneva?

We need a decent hotel for 4 people for one night before catching a morning flight.

Many years ago when we were passing through Geneva, we stayed at the youth hostel. Though it was one of the more expensive hostels, the person there told us it was one of the cheaper places to stay in Geneva. It was beautiful

Neat idea but I don't think a hostel would work for this group.

Any other ideas out there?

Try AirBnb. We have had great luck with them in other places and I just checked, they seem to have plenty of listings in Geneva

Thanks. Only a one night stay, with an early AM flight. Think I'd prefer to stick with a hotel this time.

Just wanted to add that the hostel was like a hotel. Private room and bath with a view of the fountains. The way we found out that it was one of the cheaper places to stay was when we were speaking with the clerk and mentioned the much older people- 60-ish plus- checking in. Granted we were 30 at the time

BC-This sounds nothing like the hostels I used in my youth! I'd be happy to consider it if you can remember the name. Thank you
