I've used GrubHub for a number of years and enjoy it. I have the app on my phone and credit card linked to account. My family has my log in so if they wish to order via the app on their phone or computer, they can with no worries. Lots of yummy food options and it's extremely easy to use. You can even choose to have a tip via CC or made in cash. The delivery person usually calls the number you link to account to let you know they are outside. The only downside is given your friend not feeling well, she may not be able to come to the door and historically, they do not leave food at the door even if it's prepaid. Other than that, it's a wonderful service.

We want to give a sick friend a gift certificate to a food delivery service for the days when she is too ill to cook.
Any thoughts or recommendations? She lives in SOMA.
