Question about GoodRx

I’ve seen their online ads for purchasing pharmaceuticals.

And I have read their Wikipedia entry. I still don’t understand their business model. From whom do they make money?

IF consumers like us are their product, who are their customers?

"GoodRx makes money by selling its technology and ads, as well as through
referral fees and a subscription service (its main website and app,
with comparative pricing and discounts are free, though)."

when I tried them a few years ago, it seemed I was referred to 'canadian' pharmacies.....have they actually transformed it into something actually helpful.

Any idea what technology they sell, and who buys it?
And, who is paying the referral fees they receive?

It appears they are a Pharmacy Benefit Corp.   Looking at the meds I take, in general there is a savings,  I can procure the meds at any of the specified local pharmacies. Before i head to my doctor I check the website by medication, and will have them send the Rx to the best pharmacy, which often is my Stop n Shop or CVS.

I never created an account, just print out the price and obtain savings.
