Thanks for sharing....This sounds delicious. Like chocolate covered bacon or spaghetti with cottage cheese and ketchup....I bet this will be one of my new favorites.
It's actually quite tasty. All kinds of things happen in your mouth once you start chewing.
Like Massachusetts spring-time: maple syrup ("sugar" locally) on snow with pickles and crackers.
still - ??
Sounds gross, but I shouldn't be one to talk, one of my favorite drinks is milk and coke.

I can't believe you just said that! I just started drinking it again last week. I had it first as a teen. It has an egg cream taste.
Never though about milk and coke, though it makes a lot of sense. Have always loved egg creams. I wonder what it would be like with a Vanilla Coke?
hmmmm
it really isn't gross. It's quite good. On the first bite, all you taste is pickle. Then as you chew, the pickle subsides and the chocolate starts to come out, and then there's not much pickle but just some leftover acidity that brightens up the oreo.

I once had vanilla ice cream drizzled with orange vinegar. That was pretty good. But the key to that was to drizzle it on, not just pour it on like you would with a sweet topping like fudge or caramel.
This is the one I used, found it at Wegman’s

I think it was Pepsi, but yes. I don't do it half and half, like Morganna said, it is similar to an egg cream, I put two fingers of milk in, then the rest is coke
Orange vinegar? hmmmmmm

There’s no Oreo we won’t try
How about a gherkin popsicle?
It’s fine — there’s no topping fuss
We’re gonna do it

I've made it more ethical than my teen concoction. I now use soy milk.
Fair enough but I like the sound of soy milk better. Giving up dairy was a challenge. As a kid I guzzled quarts of milk. So I allowed myself to believe that there is a magical animal named the Soy. It gives bountifully of its milk without ever suffering. It is second cousin to the Unicorn. And it gives birth to Tofu Pups. You can eat them and they are reborn. Second cousin to the Phoenix.

That's a nice story.
