Patagonia reacts to Trump's reversal on Bear Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

Good for them!  Last year on Black Friday, they donated all profits in one day to charity.  I bought an expensive sweatshirt for my son (which he loves).   They seem to really care about the environment.  I wonder if they can help push him back the way something got him to put the hold on the elephant trophy thing.

it's a deal with Orin Hatch. The right in Utah thinks there's "nothing but sagebrush" for thousands of acres and the land was taken in a "land grab" by bureaucrats in DC, and Utah wants it back. They're emotionally invested in this mess. Very sad!

More companies and events need to leave the state.  Utah needs to feel the pain economically. If it weren't for spectacular scenery and national parks, there would be no reason to visit that state.

I don't think it makes a difference to them. The UTAH Republican base is very religious and self-righteous. To them land is God given, to do with as they please. God will provide, etc.
