I don't have much use for Pat R. but I wouldn't wish a stroke on him.

it's just noteworthy that he blamed everyone else's misfortune on God's punishment for their sinfulness. I don't believe in such things, so I just chalk it up to him being elderly. If anything, he's had himself one long run.

Nobody here wished a stroke on the guy. God did it.

I notice that often with these people. They'll denigrate science, scientists, yet they'll use all the tools of science to extend their lives when in need.

Probably TPA. It has to be administered within 2-3 hours of onset of the stroke.

I read recently that they now say that it can be very beneficial for a considerably longer period than that.
