Open Auditions for Jetpack Jones and the Prison Planet of Peril!

Join Jetpack Jones and his trusty alien sidekick Mitch Meridian on a British-style Pantomime adventure that's out of this world!

We are looking for fun, outgoing personalities ages 11-111 to help cast our latest all-new, completely original, British-style Pantomime performed in Maplewood, NJ in January 2019.

All levels of acting experience accepted, ability to have fun essential.

Sept. 5th from 7-9pm

Sept. 8th from 2-4pm

In the Community Room at the Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Rd, Maplewood 07040.

 We're going to space this year, but there's no reason why we shouldn't have space cows. There weren't any cows last year, but we did have a cow dressed as a knight in our King Arthur show.

First day of auditions is tomorrow, folks! If the current news cycle is getting you down...if you feel like a drone at work and not finding an outlet for your stress and misery...if you're wondering what you can do to scratch that creative itch you had as a youth...well, our rogue, happy, funny band of local thespians known as Suburban Legend are always on the lookout for new talent to participate in our annual panto which we produce and perform in January, after the holidays. If you haven't seen us perform, our production in the British panto style is a joke-filled, family-friendly, silly two hours of fun. We will stop at nothing to get a laugh from the audience and our shows encourage - heck, demand - audience participation! There's some singing and dancing so if you can carry a tune and do so without falling down, dang it, you're panto gold as far as I'm concerned. We're a fun group of people who enjoy each other's company and our post-rehearsal meet ups are legendary. Well, not exactly "legendary." More like noteworthy. Sort of. Anyway, I'm one of the actors and producers and I hope to see you at our auditions on Wednesday and this coming Saturday. This one will be set in space. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?!
