Our sons are currently enrolled in a local public school in the Chatham township. We are considering enrolling them in Oak Knoll next year. Our older boy will be starting second grade next year. We know that the school will become all girls by seventh grade. We are looking to see if anyone on this board has personal experience with having sons enrolled in their lower school. Do they like the environment? There are definitely more girls than boys. How is the curriculum compared to the one in the public school in the area? We like our public school however, the class size seems to be big and there is not much individualized attention paid to the child. We also do not see much differentiated teaching in the public school system. (At least not at the elementary school level). We also want to find out where most of the Oak Knoll boys end up after graduating from the lower school?
