Never has a medical human interest story caused me to say out loud “ wow” as this one just did

And it’s local.

“Just let them make it”

I have some hats. A journalism hat is not one, but I’ll put one on anyway.

Great journalism. Excellent tempo to the story.

Can I just say that I HATE the WAPO paywall?  Jeez, doesn't Bezos have enough money already?

With cookies cleared, I can read it w/o paywall issues. Either from the link, or from Wapo home page.

Thanks for posting this dickf3. I neglected to read this yesterday and it is a great, not to be missed  story.

i retrieved it by googling 'washinton post covid twins' --- just enough key words to bring it up for free.

Newspapers need to make money somehow and paper subscriptions are giving way to digital subscriptions.  They already have too many ads as it is.  I don't begrudge a reasonable subscription rate, because I really DO want them to survive.  But I really appreciate when they allow a certain number of free articles per month for the casual readers.

I also hate it when you subscribe to the electronic newspaper, but links (like the one posted by the op) are blocked.

I still read and have delivered the Star Ledger. Today;s Ledger had a three page story about a NJ high school principal and lawyer who was in the hospital for over 70 days.   Very good story.  The Ledger has lots of NJ stories.   Note that even though I subscribe to the delivery of the Star Ledger, I still get blocked on many NJ.com stories

Great story! And great photos of those beautiful babies. Wow!
