Mueller subpoenas Trump's Deutsche Bank documents

I assume that there are many, many Trump related organizations, not necessarily named Donald Trump that could be involved in the Russian financing deals.  And it is my feeling that Deutsche Bank "passed through" Russian money to Trump organizations, simultaneously wiping clean the Russian identification names to conceal the source.  This would be classic money laundering.

I await the outcome of this investigation.  Go, Mueller, go.

On the 12th day of Christmas my Mueller gave to me....

"On May 23, the Democratic members asked Deutsche Bank to disclose what it had learned in its internal review about whether Trump may have benefited from the improper Russian money transfers. The bank refused, citing U.S. privacy laws. The Democratic letter also raised the possibility that the bank had conducted a similar review of Kushner — without mentioning his name — by referring to a review of accounts “held by family members, several of whom serve as official advisers to the president.”

If there's anything that will make Trump jackknife, it's Mueller rooting around in his bank accounts. Therein lies the truth of Donald Trump.  Before sundown, staffers might have to lasso Trump and get the net on him.  (McMaster on stand-by with tranquilizer gun.)  The hell with popcorn, this is KFC extra greasy chicken bucket drama.

There has been a long and well-documented relationship between Trump's various real estate entities and dirty money from Russia. I hope Mueller is finally able to nail Trump on this.

Yeah I'm sure NO-ONE remembers when Donny refused to shake the German chancellor's hand.

Makes you wonder what Mueller knows now that he didn't know then.

"In January, Deutsche Bank agreed to pay $630 million in fines for organising $10 billion in sham trades that could have been used to launder money out of Russia."

"One month before Election Day, Jared Kushner’s real estate company finalized a $285 million loan as part of a refinancing package for its property near Times Square in Manhattan.

The loan came at a critical moment. Kushner was playing a key role in the presidential campaign of his father-in-law, Donald Trump. The lender, Deutsche Bank, was negotiating to settle a federal mortgage fraud case and charges from New York state regulators that it aided a possible Russian money-laundering scheme. The cases were settled in December and January."

Seems like a good time to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.

I may have read too quickly, but I thought it said that the request was some time ago. Maybe it just recently became outside knowledge.

ETA: Found it:

Germany’s largest bank received a subpoena from Special Counsel Robert Mueller several weeks ago to provide information on certain money and credit transactions, the person said, without giving details, adding that key documents had been handed over in the meantime.

Right now the Republicans are invested on getting Moore elected into the senate. The RNC pivoted and is now supporting him. McConnell pivoted and is now saying he'll let the voters of Alabama decide. In, other words, national Republican election support and no expulsion.

If Moore wins, especially by a comfortable margin, don't expect much from Mueller. Because, I think, Trump & Co., will feel empowered enough to direct Muller's firing. If a Kiddie Diddler can be sold to the base then I'm sure a justification for the firing of Mueller can also be sold.

The devaluing (is that really the word I want??) of ethics in both our countries, especially at this season and in this supposedly more enlightened and civilised era, deeply saddens me daily.

I can’t recall ever being so disgusted and ashamed of years of policy and law-making ‘in my name’ as I am now.

I really want Mr Mueller’s work to succeed, but this week a little voice in my head started to scream ‘there’s a set-up being plotted, somewhere...just watch for how Trump’s team will twist a critical snippet’... everything will collapse.

(Ack. I shouldn’t type when tired)

Uh, oh.  Didn't Trump warn him not to do this?!  Expect a twitter storm today.

I would guess we are in for more upheaval than that.

Trump's lawyer (the one with the rug) denies reports that Mueller is seeking Deutsche Bank records.

Maybe "debasing"?

A very curious approach to ‘finally bringing peace to the Middle East’.  vampire
