Prestigious Architectural Digest picked CHS (of course)
Yay us!!
Quality shines through
My family is liking this a lot because, in addition to CHS of which my daughters are alums, the Texas high school (El Paso High School) is my husband's (and his sister's and father's and grandmother's) alma mater.
Hurrah for CHS ,my alma mater and that of my 2 sons. It truly is a beautiful building and should be appreciated by all.
Unfortunately it would also be appropriate for one of those "most endangered monuments" lists.
An old thread about CHS, and some similarities in appearance to other schools, including Teaneck HS in NJ (which is my alma mater):

Its a beautiful building, so let's start spending some money to repair and maintain it.
This is nice honor, though it coincided with the message from the district about their efforts to deal with the mouse problem in SOMSD schools.
Mice can't have good architectural taste, too?
(I can think of at least one.)
