Missing Your Bunny?

This pet bunny has been hanging out in my yard for a day.  Does it look familiar?

Are you sure it is someone's pet?  Wild bunnies are prevalent in the area and frequently visit people's yards.

This time of year it's also common to spot a Púca, a shape-shifting spirit from Ireland. They sometimes take the shape of rabbits and steal your Halloween candy.

Thank you for the warning! Hope they do not like Vegan chocolate.

My favorite Puca is Harvey who is always good company at a bar.

The photo looks a lot like the resident wild bunnies in my neighborhood.

With the light color around its neck, It looks just like the large bunny that chased my husband last spring!  But it's likely a relative....this one looks pretty young.

I always thought if their ears stick up they’re wild, and if the ears are down they’re domesticated. Though I have no idea where I ever heard or read that.  That photo looks just like the ones I see in my yard…

We have one on our yard pretty regularly - but not as plump.  I'm always surprised that there's only one.

Are you sure it's the same one each time?  Or perhaps you';re seeing many, only one at a time

I found a bunny in south orange and now he is my pet..he is an actual breed and was already litter box trained when i brought him home..unfortunately people do just dump former pets.  if you can approach him maybe we can help find him a home before it gets colder--i'm happy to help
