You can park at Whole Foods or on the street. You have to buy something at WF. The place is absolutely great.
We just bit the bullet and paid for parking. Due to start times, we had an $11 dollar parking fee. Forgot to ask at B&P about parking... What can I say????
Have to say some food was great but a major disappointment. If you want fried chix there are two choices in the evening:
A $9.00 Appy with ONE Thigh and a Waffle Quarter OR
What amounts to a "whole" fried chicken in pieces for two for FORTY FIVE DOLLARS!
Shocked! Apparently what I wanted is available at lunch but I'm still not clear on how much chicken you get. The website is a little confusing and they are still working out kinks. Great Staff mostly from Newark, many from NJPAC.
Corn bread for $8.
I cannot not recommend their mac and cheese. So out of the box I didn't recognize it as mac and cheese. VERY little cheese and then only Parmesan I think.
I wish them luck as they were filled to the brim by 5:30. Haven't yet started their Happy Hour 3-5.
As a Southerner, there is one dish you can make for yourself off their menu that will warm your bones and heart. They have an appy or side of beans and greens. Ask for the Cornbread in a bowl with The Beans and Greens on top. You will smile. know that it is not vegetarian.
