Lost earring found- UPDATE archived

My husband and I were helping a couple look for the woman's earring she lost near McLoone's tonight, before taking a walk around the reservoir. We did not find it then, but on the way back, we took one more look with a flashlight and did find it! If you happen to know this couple, I would like to return it to them.

Can't possibly tell from your description if I know the couple or not but if they had been eating at McLoone's, perhaps leaving the earring with McLoone's management might be the way to go.

One earing is not going to do anyone any good, how about posting a picture?

I never got back here to tell what happened because I had surgery soon after and my priorities changed.

I had gone into the restaurant on finding the earring to see if the woman left her name. She did not, so I asked for a piece of paper and some tape to leave a note with my number, very low on a pole near the site where earring was lost. I had a feeling she would come back to look for it. Sure enough, the very next morning, I got a call from her saying she stopped by after a Dr.'s appt. and couldn't believe it when she saw my note.
She insisted on buying me lunch that day. We had a wonderful afternoon and are now friends !
I am glad to have spent a little extra time looking for it because I could tell it was important to her.
