Looking for dermatologist for my child

My child has what appears to be (from searches on webbed, etc.) to be folliculitis on their arm.  I'd like to have a dermatologist take a look at it in case we need to get a Rx.  Two questions:

1. Do you know of a dermatologist that we can see pretty quickly who isn't too far from Maplewood who is good with teens and 

2. Would you trust a tele-visit for this diagnosis?

We have taken our son (pre-teen) to Short Hills Dermatology Consultants in Millburn (on Morris near the Bed Bath and Beyond).  We saw Richie Lin, but there are several doctors in the practice.  973-232-6245.  While it may seem that they cater mainly to bettering your appearance, they have been really good for me (skin cancer) and my son (skin diseases).
