I've never wished for anyone's public and total humiliation the way I wish for Trump's. Not Bush, Jr., not Nixon. (Well, maybe Ted Cruz. And maybe Mitch McConnell.)

You have more faith in the American electorate than me. I was already pretty cynical before last November but they still managed to surprise. 

I'm assuming the GOP will pick up a seat or two in the Senate next year and again in 2020 (along with Trump's election to a second term). We're boned.
