Most printers have really simple directions to connect. I say this as a minimally technical person who has been able to connect every printer to our modem, either via plug in or wireless.
I suggest you start with the manufacturers website. Look up the model number of the printer, and follow through the steps.
What type of printer is it? If you provide more info I’m happy to lend a virtual hand.

Hi there,
After recently losing internet, Comcast came out and replaced our modem/router.
Apparently our printer now needs to be reconfigured.
Any suggestions as to who might be able to help with this?
Thanks and happy holidays
Did you have to reconnect your pc when the modem was replaced? i.e. did the name of your network or password change?
If so, then you would need to re-connect your printer to the new network name. If you didn't have to do anything to reconnect your pc, your printer should connect OK.
Anyway, what's the brand and model number of your printer?
Thanks all. Yes, I had to change the name and password for the network and it was not showing up. Geek Squad tried to do it virtually and could not. I ended up having them come to the house and they did a push buttom reset which probably took 12 seconds (slight exaggeration).
