Is this your cat?
Looks like a stray that used to be seen in my neighborhood - between Ridgewood Road and train tracks (Mountain/Winthrop/Lenox) - very distinctive black cat with round eyes, close together. Been around for a few years, but haven't seen him/her lately. Who knows? Maybe just one of the Maplewood feral types, but I hope it's someone's pet, and you locate the owner!
He might belong to #57 S Pierson Rd. They have an indoor/outdoor black cat, young male.
