I'm sorry to say that it does look like Rose Rosette. We've lost several bushes to it. I'm not an expert though, and suggest that you PM Ron Carter for his advice. He's also been dealing with this virus.

Sorry for the bad pics. There are too many thorns, the leaves are turning red, and where stems branch off there are weird side leaves. It doesn't look like the Google pics, but I am worried it might be the beginning.
I don't want to toss a rose bush if it is something fixable, but if it is the beginning of rose rosette I want it gone ASAP before any of the others get infected.
