Do a search through your internet (browsing) history.  You should be able to find it that way.

And I really love your next list, would hit Like x10 if I could.

Now, continuing this irregular series on which posts can pick up the loudest groan* or, even better, garner the most likes and thereby put in an appearance in the Popular Comments section, I offer you ...

* Don't forget, we can also post audio here. Read through this thread to find out about it.

Most phones these days have an audio recording function. So it should be relatively-easy to record something and then post it here. Put your .mp3 or .wav file into the 'Drop files here to upload' section.

but the braces are still holding up those walls…

This is a lovely story of a remote town in western Queensland, where the population increased by about 800% when the pub choir visited.   The name 'pub' is probably derived from from public house, such as a tavern, or similar.

Not sure about the song, but the community choir is great.

The Pub Choir gathering was held near the town's painted silos.

There are quite a number of these dotted around Australia, with tourists making a point of visiting as many as they can.

Along with the silos, many country towns have now had their local water towers decoratively painted, as well -

This water tower is in south-western New South Wales.

Nobody said they’d be days like these…

Apologies in advance ...

None required. At least not from this poster nor, I daresay, from my compatriot, @joanne.

Maybe they're teaching the readers to apply critical thinking.

Actually, last week I met a man whose British mate said this to the clerk at Australia House in London around 30 years ago, when he was talking about immigrating. The man I was speaking with had already moved here and was back for a visit but needed to renew his passport, brought his mate with him. Said he nearly died of embarrassment.  oh oh

This was spotted in someone's commute recently - not mine, especially as it's a Tennessee plate!

It refers to a term used in the brilliant TV series 'Bluey'.  Yes, although the primary aim of the program is younger children, there's more than enough in each episode to keep adults amused.

(Ask if you're confused - either here, or DM)

Bonus .. as I was preparing the image for posting here, I happened to notice the logo on the truck at the left.

The logo, reading vertically, is EPES. 'Epes' in Yiddish, means the word, 'something'.

Which is fair enough, as I'm sure that something is carried in that vehicle at some stage!

smile

There is some debate on the origins of the term 'selfie', with suggestions that it was first coined by a poster to an online science forum in Australia.

However, the person who made that post said he didn't coin the word, as he'd already heard it in use elsewhere.

“Will the Commander be joining us this morning?”

“No, he accidentally drank some invisible ink last night.”

“Where is he now?”

“He’s still in sick bay, waiting to be seen.”

Main characters in the political section of MOL…

Is that me, lurking in the wings??  oh oh  oh oh oh oh

A man has just been found guilty of overusing commas.

The judge warned him to expect a very long sentence.
