If you were giving a T.E.D. Talk ----What would it be?

I was listening to TED this afternoon and thought about this. I came to the conclusion I would have nothing to say... I'm like the line in Pink Floyd, "I thought I'd something more to say..." --- but I don't.

What would you present?

You think you have nothing to say, but if they offered you the spot you would think of something.  I would go to Starbucks and make a list of every topic I knew something about and try to tie them together under some "truth."  I have not watched too many TED talks, but I thinkt here is a formula.

To take you question one more step, If you were to tell a story on Moth, What would it be?

My Ted Talk would probably bore everyone to death.  Myths about Strong Leaders.  The Repugs have for a long time so totally misunderstood what Strong Leadership is actually about.  Means I'd lose 30% of the audience from the get go!

Best Regards,

Ron Carter

Jack -- you could easily give a TED talk on photography.

That's an easy one. The time I was in Paris (France, not Texas) and my boss got drunk and we missed the chunnel train back to London. He began cursing out the security guy.

Next morning, we were back at the depot and the security guard he cursed out, motions to him. "Sir, please come with me. "

About 1/h hour later, my boss returns.

I never asked him what happened.
