Foam Pack - 72 Fadem Road - Springfield - accepts clean styrofoam. They have a bin in parking lot to put it in. Have dropped off numerous times.
The owner of Foampack is fairly local -- maybe New Providence. Really nice guy, interesting family-owned company, great source for recycling!
It worked out great to drop off the pieces in the bin just as described. Very easy to get to and since I had one errand on 22 anyway yesterday it was not out of my way at all. Thanks again!

Hi all,
Does someone know where a convenient place would be to dispose of the above without having to break it into chunks and throw it out in the trash. And no, it's NOT recyclable: Only rinsed styrofoam food containers are recyclable. Since stryrofoam peanuts are NOT I have to assume the brick type of pieces that came in some shipments are NOT as well. See https://www.twp.maplewood.nj.us/sites/maplewoodnj/files/uploads/single_stream_recycling.pdf
I plan to call the UPS store - they're not open yet - to ask but I have a vague memory that while they used to take peanuts and the brick type they no longer.
Thanks for any suggestions but please don't suggest any other uses for me short of recycling/clearing it out of my house; but feel free to give me your address if you do want it. Thanks!
